You don't need any Z motion in your GCode files. If there is Z motion the PlasmaC GCode parser will remove it.

You can try the attached one, just remove the .txt from the end of the file.

I get the bottom limit reached when its probing

this the values I came up with
MIN_LIMIT = -0.002
MAX_LIMIT = 0.555

[JOINT_2]
TYPE = LINEAR
HOME = 0.555
MIN_LIMIT = -0.002
MAX_LIMIT = 0.555
MAX_VELOCITY = 0.645380434783
MAX_ACCELERATION = 3.0
STEPGEN_MAXACCEL = 3.75
SCALE = 6400.0
FERROR = 0.05
MIN_FERROR = 0.01
HOME_OFFSET = 0.555
HOME_SEQUENCE = 0

I would imagine that you should have at least a couple of inches travel to allow for tip ups sheet buckling.

That is a SheetCam post processor.

MIN_LIMIT = -0.001
MAX_LIMIT = 3.001
HOME = 3.0
HOME_OFFSET = 3.0
HOME_SEQUENCE = 0

If you used say a 3" block of wood and put that on you slats then jog Z so it just touches the block then home your machine.

Can you make the LED come on by activating the float switch by hand. You don't need to be running a program, the float switch is active all the time.

I thought you said you used a SheetCam post processor for your Mach software.
