Yes. Got it.
Tomorrow I will get all the wire info from encoders and motors e-stop, home, floating head and all that. I will need the mapping of these wires to the mesa, the thc board and the box we got with the z motor. If you can take some time to put all this into a simple schematic that would be great. Or something like a simple list saying this wire from encoder goes to pin 7 of mesa breakout board.

Haven't had the time to help my friend with this lately.
We did some checking yesterday and we will be looking into those wires more closely tomorrow.

Back on track guys ! How are you doing?
So we checked the Z motor side.
Z motor => 2 wires (blue/brown)
Up/Down control => 3 wires (yellow/brown/bleu)
End Stop Up/Down => 4 wires
Collision detection => 4 wires
All these guys go to the box behind the z motor.
Where do these guys go on the mesa board or on the computer side?
I will add some pics.
We will remove the z motor tomorrow.

Need to see pictures of the sensors and wiring, most probably there would be only one or two wires for the up/down and one or two for the collision sensor/probe/floating switch.Z motor => 2 wires (blue/brown) <<<<<Nowhere, new wires to the new motor
Up/Down control => 3 wires (yellow/brown/bleu) <<<<<<< Not used
End Stop Up/Down => 4 wires <<<<<<<<<<< new shielded wires between them and the Mesa board
Collision detection => 4 wires <<<<<<<<<<< new shielded wires between them and the Mesa board

Quick question: will 5v relays do the job instead of the 24v relays?
The 24v will be delivered in august. There are 5v versions available on amazon for delivery next time.

Yes they will, but will need more stuff, say 7805 voltage regulators for each one.
Very cheap, can be found anywhere, and does not complicate things much.
