Change this line:

loadrt [EMCMOT]EMCMOT servo_period_nsec=[EMCMOT]SERVO_PERIOD num_joints=[KINS]JOINTS

To this:

loadrt [EMCMOT]EMCMOT servo_period_nsec=[EMCMOT]SERVO_PERIOD num_joints=[KINS]JOINTS num_spindles=[TRAJ]SPINDLES

And see if that fixes it.

Revert that edit to how it was, try to run LinuxCNC from a terminal, post everything in the terminal after you get the error and also post your ini file.

OK...

Put the edit back in.

Then edit the INI file, in the [TRAJ] section add a line:
SPINDLES = 2

One more strange bug I have been meaning to report,
I did a update a couple of days ago to get my ARC ok setting working from synthesized signal to using the relay of the plasma cutter,

Now I have multiple of the same tabs, I ran the configurator and overwrote my existing config,

I had a fix for that earlier today but I was waiting until I got the Gmoccapy Pierce Only sorted so I could push everything at once.
It is taking longer than I thought so I should push that fix so nothing is left broken.

Do you use the Run Tab or the Run Panel on the left?

Which button do you want to change to the Pierce option?
