Why not just call your first contact break the contact break and be done with it, nice and simple...

Thats essentially what we are doing but to counter noise, the moving average confirms there is a downward trend first. Kinda like a debounce..... but we will be doing that confirming debounce before we get back to the threshold.
The goal is reliability not simplicity.

I have not actually moved any steps ahead since I made some changes on the weekend. We will all get there..

Yeh 10-11 hours for you (we are GMT+10) So are are about 15 hours ahead of the US which has a very unfriendly time zone for an aussie.
