All my other machines run 1280 x 1024. If I didnt have the odd widescreen, that's what I'd go back to as I have an extra one or two laying around.

Thanks, just trying to get a feel for what resolution screen folk are using, my machines use 1600x900.
Does anyone use a touch screen, if so what resolution?
I don't, but if it helps you at all my screen is 1440 x 900. I have a touch screen for the Tormach Lathe, and I ended up unplugging the touch part, I hated it. But some people love it. Again, to each their own I guess.

I use one 1920 x 1080 with Gmocappy. I really wanted a smaller one but the price was right.
And another new addition to the CNC machine collection has touch but I guess I should not mention Windows 7 on this forum.
My thoughts exactly, a machine controller is a machine controller. Also, I'm one of those guys who leaves the CNC machine void of all programs that aren't required to run the table. Probably came from the Mach3 days when the computer could hardly handle Mach3 let alone anything else.

15mm thick mild steel, 24mm holes, cut with Trafimet torch and consumables, nozzle orifice 1.4mm, cut at 85A and 600mm/m.
No pictures of the finished part as there were over 20 people around the machine by the time it finished the first run of 10 parts.
Very little dross on the underside as can be seen on the first picture.
