Some progress on z axis this weekend.  Things stalled when I realised i had forgotten to buy the thrust bearing to take the weight through the leadscrew.

Getting into controlling the wiring so a couple of pics of the junction boxes to be used on Y and X axis along with the trial positinoing of the X axis cable chain.  Printed thanks to the design link supplied by tommylight.

Thanks tommylight. I have upped the air pressure. Higher speed seems to improve dross. 40Amp on 2mm should be ok? Think that was running at 2300mm/min. Slower does not improve dross levels that I can see. ~2640mm/min seems better.

I'm doing some test at that speed dialing in the kerf size. Also need to get more ridgid torch holding. But still stocked its actually starting to cut.

Now need to start thinking about water table, THC and no doubt some other refinements that will come up.
