Remora - ethernet NVEM cnc board

The "old" versions of the NVEM and EC500 can still be supported to bug fixed. The boards are 99.9% working. Just attempts to get higher step rates will need to stopped.

There is a new EC300 which apparently has the same MCU as the new NVEM. I'll confirm when it arrives in a few weeks. The EC500 appears to be discontinued with no one shipping / cancelling orders.

I don't think it's canceled. They pulled the current stock. Iv emailed them and they said the model is getting "upgraded".

Would it be wise to make a manual how to do things step by step for all versions because everything is now mixed

I really need to update the docs to include the ethernet versions.

Thanks Rog, absolutely great!! I'll start to see if I can trace things. I've also ordered stencils and solder balls to reball the chip, just in case we need to lift the RT1052 to work out the circuit.

What sort of bugs are we talking ? I understand dropping the higher step rates for these versions but as I have one making its way to me I could still use it on a more simple machine that doesn't need fast step rates.

None that I'm aware of, but you never know what people discover as they start to use the board.
