Got it hopefully today or tomorrow I can start making some test cuts. I will try that

Ok I hooked up my machine and hooked up my interface cable as well and I started up the GUI and my arc ok lights is blinking on the bottom. Any reason why? I already switched the cables on my wiring to input to Mesa I flipped the polarity. Do I need to invert the input?

I just noticed that when I remove my ground clamp from table the arc ok led stops blinking. Not sure what that can be.

You got something wrong. ArcOK is on pins 12 & 14. Connect one of those pins to +24V field power and the other to an input pin for ArcOK. Use Plasmac mode 1.

Yes that’s how I have it. I hit the torch on pulse button and the torch turned on. I was trying to run a simple job but then figured out that I needed to setup the z axis correctly well as far as the touch off and I think I might of screwed up the settings on there. Is there a way to reset the touch off button seeking to default. I had entered a value then was trying compensate the distance where the torch was on and enter another value when pressing the touch off and it way off. But first need to see why arc ok led is blinking.

Still something wrong I think. Relays don't blink, they click. If you are not hearing clicking from your plasma cutter, there is something not right... I would be poking around in halshow

No relay works the torch fires and all but the led on the GUI bottom left arc ok signal is blinking when I connect the ground lead to table. I have pin 12 from interface going to input 10 on Mesa board and pin 14 going to +24v. I flipped the pins 14 going to input 10 and 12 to +24v with the same results. I checked my Hal connections config and it looks right that I have input 10 arc ok.

Sounds like there is sufficient EMI to trigger the 7I96 input
I would either debounce the arc-ok signal in hal or put
a small capacitor (say .01 uF) across the arc ok input
and input common of the 7I96

I am using the same plasma machine I have on my other table that’s running linuxcnc but with a proma that I get raw voltage and the prime has the arc signal that I send to the Chinese breakout board input. No issues there what do I need to enter on my config for the debounce on input 10?

I think Plasmac already has some facility for adding debounce to the arc-OK signal
I would try that route first. Basically debounce is always needed on 7I96 input for signals
from mechanical contacts, since the 7I96 isolated inputs are quite fast (50 usec or so
response time)
