Do you mean that if you disconnect the wire from 7i96 input 10 then the flashing stops?

Yes, to upgrade you would need to be connected or if you have a package install you could do it via a USB stick or similar.

That seems to indicate it is caused by either the cable to your plasma power supply or the plasma power supply itself.

Does it show the same behaviour if you disconnect/connect at the plasma power supply?

No it does with the plasma not powered on or ground clamp on my table.

What do I need to do now that I am on the internet on my computer?

Sorry, I don't understand. Instead of disconnecting the wire at input 10, leave it connected and disconnect from the plasma cutter end.

What do I need to do now that I am on the internet on my computer?

If it its a package installation then in a terminal:
sudo apt update
sudo apt dist-upgrade

Just run LinuxCNC normally and it should fix it self up. It may shut down and say you need to restart, that is normal for some updates.

It asked to install it in 3 areas I think it only installed it 1 as the other 2 we’re giving errors but it’s complete now. Do I need to reboot? It didn’t ask me to.
