Thermal dynamics customer support said that maybe wiring the ok to move or arc pins to relay on low side that could maybe work but I not sure how to do that for an input pin on board.

Can you plot the arc-ok input signal in halscope to get some idea of what's going in on?
This is not normal, and suggests a grounding issue or similar
So right now I have hooked up like you have above and I am reading 24v on input pin on board. And the led does not flicker but as soon as I hook up the ground clamp it flickers same with float switch and breakaway switch. Which are on my inputs there on board.
If its connected as I suggested you should read 0V at the 7I96 input until you get the ARC/OK signal

Yes that’s how I have it wired but I am checking voltages and I have 24v on inputs on idle then when float switch gets activated it goes to 0v same with breakaway switch. On arc ok pin I have 24v. You telling me that the pins need to be seeing 0v and all my input pins? If so then I would need to see about my wiring but my float and breakaway are working fine I have the wires wired in a N/O state on switch for float and breakaway I have it wired in N/C state.

I would have thought that ARC-OK (OK to move) was normally open
so you would expect to read 0V and the 7I96 input until the arc is established

Yes but I think what’s going on is that since it’s reading 24 volts already on all inputs port cause I checked with my meter my float switch and breakaway I need to switch the wires that way they read 0v and when the switch activates it will 24v. But why am I ready 24 volts and all ports though?

This is the way I have it wired. I need to switch the wires on float and breakaway that way at idle they ready 0v an input pin. You think that’s the reason the arc pin is flickering?

If input 10 of the 7I96 is at 24V without ARC OK present, there is a wiring error
possibly a missing ground

I fixed the wiring on my switches for the inputs and now reading 0v at idle then when the float activated it reads 24v. I checked my arc ok cables and still getting the flickering I called TD again today and they said that 12 and 14 are just a dry contact and I did a continuity test on the wires and they all test out good. Something is up with the interface board or my plasma cause it’s just flickers when I hook up the ground clamp to table.
I am not looking at buying another interface board or plasma. The plasma works fine with the proma so I will be doing away with the Mesa boards and thcad-05 and thcad-10 i am sure they work great when working but didn’t work out for me cause of my equipment. So if anybody is interested in a Mesa 7i96 and 2 thcad cards let me know I willing to ship wherever.

At time like this its a good idea to have a few days away from the machine before coming back to it.
I have a Thermal Dynamics working with 2 x thcads and mesa hardware and its worked perfectly for me.
There has to be something you have missed somewhere.
