Thanks Phill from your attached display it seems I need to change the Home-Offset negative to a positive. Which may also correct the error Clive is talking about above. My lack of knowledge of Linuxcnc is causing many problems, I used the Pncconf to do the original setup and do not change setting. So it shows I don't know what I don't know. With the excellent help form the member here I may get things going.

I have made progress, but find this odd,  the homing function works as it should for the X, Y, and Z, when I home X and Z last step is sets DRO to 0.0 then I go to Y and it homes fine but sets the DRO to 0.543. I don't know where to change that so it shows 0.0 at home.

The "X0Y0" button will set the X and Y axes to zero.

The "0" buttons allow the corresponding axis to be set to zero or any other value.

Edit: They are the equivalent off the "Touchoff" button mentioned in the "G54-59.3 User Coordinates" section  here

I use both of those a lot, daily.

I understand that but why the software does not do it as part of the home function. Like the X and Z. Other software will do it like that.image missing /media/kunena/emoticons/unsure.png
